Adi and Rudolf dassler ran a sports shoe factory together from the 1920s. Due to a family feud, working together after the war was no longer an option. Therefore, they decided to each go their separate ways. Adi renamed the current factory Adidas and Rudolf started a new factory called Puma. Like Adidas, Puma made itself immortal by sponsoring famous athletes. Any sponsor with a little name was offered free Puma clothing and footwear. The first brand hype was born...
