The original sports sandal originated on the banks of the Grand Canyon in 1984. To keep his flip-flops from being carried away with the current, a resourceful river guide tied two Velcro watch straps around a pair of old flip-flops. And voila, the Teva.

In the years since, Teva has maintained that same pioneering spirit and freedom to keep exploring.
