Minnie Mouse is an anthropomorphic mouse who appears in several Disney productions, both comics and animated films. She is the constant friend of Mickey Mouse. As an animated character, she made her debut in 1928 at the same time as Mickey, although she has become somewhat less well known.

In 1930, two years after her debut, Minnie appeared in Mickey Mouse's cartoon series, officially making her a cartoon character. Although she is often seen as Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie has her own distinctive character traits and storylines in the comics.
