Reebok International Limited is an American company. The company manufactures and deals in athletic shoes, sportswear and other sporting goods. The name comes from the African word reebok, which is the name for an African antelope. Since August 2021, the brand belongs to the Authentic Brands Group, and from 2005 to 2021 to the German group Adidas.

Reebok's history began in the year 1895, when John William Foster founded a firm in Bolton, Lancashire, England. The main achievement of this family business was that they invented spikes in 1900. J.W. Foster & Sons were allowed to make the athletic shoes worn at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris.
