Initially, founders Ben Nothling and Natalie Miller started by designing a range of jelly sandals and espadrilles. Building on that vision, they have created, updated, and improved new designs every season. This has grown into a full-fledged line of vegan, all-season shoes for women and children.

Ben, whose great-great-grandfather was the famous David Jones, works closely with Holster manufacturers on the technical aspects of new designs. Natalie, born and raised in Noosa and a true beach lover through and through, is the creative mind behind the innovative styles, colors, and patterns featured in every collection. They are driven to expand the brand’s global reach, with a focus on innovation, construction, and design, while remaining true to their core principles of sustainability and veganism.

As parents, they are keenly aware of the impact the environment has on future generations. That’s why one of their core principles is to be a sustainable business by reducing Holster’s carbon footprint, including by using recycled materials for packaging.

Their goal is to inspire people to take a step in the right direction by choosing stylish, sustainable, vegan, and cruelty-free shoes. The design and development team is committed to a vegan protocol. It is essential not to harm animals or make any compromises during production. By embracing this ethical philosophy, 100% vegan footwear has been created—registered with the Vegan Society UK.
